BASF, Ludwigshafen, Germany, announced an agreement to acquire resins manufacturer Johnson Polymer, a subsidiary of JohnsonDiversey Inc. of Sturtevant, WI. The respective agreement signed on May 1, 2006 provides for a sale price of $470 million.
